Cinnaminson’s Second Annual Trunk or Treat Event

Published 10/20/2015

This Saturday, Oct 24th , at Wood Park from 6pm to 8pm is Cinnaminson’s Second Annual Trunk or Treat Event.

What is Trunk or Treat you ask?

Halloween Tailgating or “Trunk or Treat” is when trick-or-treating is done from parked car to parked car at Cinnaminson’s Wood Park, so parents are able to keep a more watchful eye on their children. It’s really fun as people really get creative decorating their trunks. Prizes are awards for Best Decorated Trunk and also Best Participant Costumes. We also have a photographer on site to take a memory photo and a DJ. This event is a Cinnaminson Township community event and is intended to be for Cinnaminson residents only.

We will also be asking for volunteers to host “Teal Pumpkin Project” trunks for our participants with food allergies. These vehicles will be designated with a Teal Pumpkin sign offering non-foods treats, such as small toys, stickers and crayons.

This year we are asking each participant to pay $5. This small fee is required to help cover our expenses including: prizes, DJ, decorations, non-food treats and most importantly, buying the candy required to re-supply the trunk or treater vehicle participants.
