Cinnaminson Township Residents Urged To Register For Emergency Alerts

Published 02/09/2016

Danny Norman, Director of Emergency Management, announced  that Cinnaminson Township has switched to a new Emergency Notification system called “Swift911”.

“This system is a valuable tool that will be used to keep our Township and County residents informed during a crisis. “Our goal was to work with the Burlington County Office of Emergency Management to ensure that Cinnaminson Township and all Emergency Responders have an efficient and reliable way to communicate with our residents and businesses during an emergency.”

We recommend that all of our residents visit the various websites of our township listed below and register for alert notifications(see link on left side of page) to stay informed and receive up to the minute alerts. It is important to remember that an emergency can happen at any time and you want to be prepared. Registering for these alerts takes less than a minute.

“Following us on Facebook, at Cinnaminson Township Office of Emergency Management, or Twitter, @OemCinnaminson, are other easy ways to stay up to date with all that is going on in our township during an emergency.

Swift 911 replaces the County’s previous emergency alert system provider, CodeRed. Residents who have previously registered their contact information with CodeRed should re-register.                            Palmyra-Cinnaminson-Riverton
