Township Services

This page is to assist our residents with connecting to or knowing what “Township Services” we provide and the appropriate group/agency that provides these specific services. These services are all coordinated by Cinnaminson Township but all operate independently as contracted services or supplemental government agencies that provide services to our residents.

PLEASE NOTE: The dropbox/mailbox formerly used has been removed from the front of the municipal building as we now have a wall mounted dropbox to the left of the front door.

The Cinnaminson Township Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of plans and projects directed at protecting the lives and property of the residents of this township in the event of a catastrophic emergency. Cinnaminson OEM utilizes an all hazards approach to emergency operations planning and preparedness.

The Cinnaminson Office of Emergency Management meets the legal requirements established by the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management for preparedness to respond to many types of emergencies or disasters. Our NJOEM approved Emergency Operations Plan provides a means of coordinating the activities of local and mutual aid emergency response agencies (emergency medical, fire/rescue, and police) during any major emergency event such as hurricanes, winter storms, thunder and lightning storms, or man-made disasters.

The oldest volunteer squad in the Nation, serving since 1921.

The Palmyra Ambulance Association (Palmyra/Cinnaminson/Riverton EMS) was formed in 1921 and has the distinction of being the “Oldest Volunteer Squad” in the nation. The squad is a non-profit organization and is not part of any fire district or fire department. We depend on your generosity during our fund drive.

We offer free emergency medical service to the tri-boro community 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone 15 years of age or older is eligible to become a member. Free training is provided, all we ask is that you have the desire to help your neighbors and the squad. We have a “Riding” status that requires training. The riding members are the EMTs you see on the streets. We also have an “Associate” status for those who do not wish to ride. Our Associate members help with the vital behind-the-scene jobs that keep the squad running. No matter what type of membership you desire, you will be helping both your neighbors and the squad. Residents should be aware that there may be fees billed for the services provided.

If you would like to join, please call Chief Doug Wickizer at 856-829-0500.
We hope to hear from you!
