TOWNSHIP OF CINNAMINSON
Please take notice that Cinnaminson Township, located at 1621 Riverton Road, Cinnaminson will hold a public hearing to obtain comments regarding its application to the NJDEP Green Acres Program, for the proposed major disposal of parkland owned by the Township of Cinnaminson. This application is subject to NJDEP Commissioner and State House Commission approval, and is available for review at the Cinnaminson Township Clerk’s Office, 1621 Riverton Road, Cinnaminson and the Cinnaminson Branch of the Burlington County Library System, 1619 Riverton Road, and at the NJDEP Green Acres Program offices at the below address.
The public hearing will be held January 17, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Cinnaminson Municipal Building, 1621 Riverton Road, Cinnaminson, New Jersey. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. In addition to oral comments presented during the hearing, written comments may be submitted to the agencies listed below. All written comments must be received within two week following the hearing by January 31, 2012.
The proposed parkland disposal would involve the sale of Block 1004, Lot 45 (the Cinnaminson Home, 2.75 acres) to Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey. In accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:36-26.10, to compensate for the disposal , the Township will add 14.5 acres of land to the ROSI, including 2.31 acres of Block 2001, Lot 7 on S. Forklanding Road (adjacent to Memorial Park) and 12.5 acres of Block 3420, Lot 32 on Lenola Road (adjacent to Township owned open space).
